We made several good contacts whilst there and gained sound immigration information for this area. Apparently Canada now runs Municipal Immigration for certain selected areas in Canada of which New Brunswick is one. Basically the waiting time can be kept to a minimum due to the fact that the majority of the immigration process is dealt with "locally" for applications. You can find the full list of provinces that participate in the Municipal programme on the majority of Canadian Immigration websites.
